Every week, we post three of our favorite new music videos to hit the web so that you can get current with your music whilst enjoying a feast for your ears and eyes.  The style and tone may differ somewhat from week to week or video to video, and between young musicians and old, but the awesomeness will remain consistent.  Feel free to do a little shimmy if you feel its appropriate … Enjoy!

Young and Sick “Ghost of a Chance

This track comes from newbie Young and Sick’s self titled debut album. We love the laid-back harmony laden vocal and soft electro feel of the song. The video centers around a young woman who is being haunted by the ghost of an old boyfriend everywhere she goes. We have to admit we found it pretty poignant and we’re going to keep an eye out for Young and Sick in the future. Check out the video below and let us know what you think!

HAIM feat. A$AP Ferg “My Song”

It’s an unlikely pairing, but HAIM’s new song featuring A$AP Ferg is a pretty good hybrid of new folk/pop and hip hop. It’s also a smart crossover move for the Ferg, whose debut album Trap Lord came out last year to generally positive reviews. The amusing video is set in a spoof chat show in the style of Ricki Lake on which all the artists star as guests. Check it out here:

Coldplay “True Love”

This is the video for the third single from their album Ghost Stories; the song is just about as mellifluous as you would expect from the boys, and the video is set amongst the crazies on Venice Beach and in Hollywood. It’s supposed to be a sad ode to misfits, but we can’t help thinking that Chris Martin kind of looks like he’s having fun in that sumo suit and it’s pretty romantic when he gets it on with his fellow fat suited friend:
